he Washington Chorus (TWC) is one of the nation’s leading symphonic choruses, known for Grammy-winning performances and bold, community-driven programming. When TWC was ready to reimagine its visual identity, I partnered with the Eighty2degrees design team to help translate the chorus’s artistry and spirit into a cohesive brand system.

We crafted a new logo composed of abstract dots and lines that suggest chorus members on risers, the rhythm of notation, and the letter “W.” The design system built from this mark is both modern and expressive: bold colors convey vibrancy and sophistication, while radiating organic forms and textured gradients evoke sound, energy, and growth. Photography layered with pattern overlays highlights both the collective resonance of the ensemble and the individuality of its members.
