Our team at Eighty2Degrees has partnered with Planet Word for several years to design their end-of-year mailers. Each one thanks supporters, celebrates the joy of language, and includes a surprise calendar as a small gift. The calendar features a conceptual illustration tied to the museum’s mission and evolving themes. For the 2024 and 2025 editions, I created the illustrations based on sketches by Hannah Fichandler. We explored ideas like the magic of books and the power of storytelling. With bold visuals and playful details, we aimed to create a piece that sparks delight—and earns a spot on the wall all year long.
