Washington Performing Arts is one of DC's most celebrated performing arts institutions, championing the arts as a unifying force for over six decades and recognized with a National Medal of Arts. For their 2025/26 Annual Gala, Jubilation!, marking the organization's 60th anniversary, I partnered with their team to develop the complete event visual identity and corresponding collateral.

The creative direction leaned fully into the joy of the milestone, built around the geometry and energy of diamond refraction, a nod to their diamond anniversary. A custom-illustrated pattern is featured throughout. Angular, colorful shapes suggest the refractions of a diamond, channeling vibrant celebration through bold color and refined sparkle.

The identity is anchored by a custom logo wordmark set in an elegant modern serif, with custom-designed tittle dots on the i's and exclamation mark to add a note of celebratory distinction. A clean secondary sans-serif balances the warmth of the logomark with modern legibility across the full collateral suite.
